I passed!

I did it! I passed! I'm now a Cisco Certified Network Associate!
I'm pretty excited about it. I realize that this is pretty low on Cisco's certification ladder, but it's nice to have something on paper that says I'm as badass as I've been telling people I am anyway :-p
To be honest, I went into the test being pretty unsure how I would do. About halfway through the test I was pretty much convinced that I had already failed, but all of a sudden a big banner saying "Congratulations" popped up.
My actual score was 854/1000. Passing is 825, and there was a total of 53 questions. I don't know exactly how they score things, but I'm willing to bet that I would have failed if I had missed one more question. Still, barely passing is still passing, and I'm feeling pretty good right now!

Pattern recognition

I'm not entirely sure how I managed to stumble across this, but it seemed blog worthy.
Apparently there is a company out there that makes a software program that can identify pictures of an anus.

...I don't really know what else to say.

CCNA coming on up

I have exactly one week to finish my studying for my CCNA test. Right now my weak areas seem to be routing protocols and NAT. I also haven't looked at switches much lately, but I don't think I'm going to have much of a problem with them.
