Halloween 2007 Last nights annual Halloween party went off without a hitch. It was, as planned, smaller then previous years but we still ended up with a fairly big turnout. Standard alcohol related drama aside, here are some highlights from the evening: Me. Yup, I'm the first and therefore the most important highlight of the evening :-) Lots of girls in hot costumes Body shots and general debauchery. After Hawaii (pictures and blog to come) I wasn't sure that I really wanted to deal with the hassle and expense of having a Halloween party, but I'm glad that I did and I am already looking forward to the best Halloween party ever... 	Oktoberfest It was just over one year ago when I went to Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany. It was amazing, but sadly our bookings only allowed us to catch the very last day of the celebration. I vowed to myself that I would return and spend more time there in the future, but unfortunately this year didn't pan out. Don't feel too sorry for me, I'm going to Hawaii next Thursday instead :-) That being said, I was delighted to find out about Oktoberfest By The Bay in San Francisco. This weekend (starting tomorrow actually) the United German-American Societies of San Francisco is hosting a smaller version of the Oktoberfest celebrations at Fort Mason in San Francisco. Unlike the Munich version, they charge an admission fee, but I suppose it's still less then a ticket to Germany. I'm planning on going this weekend sometime, so if anyone is interested, drop me a line and let me know. 1 Comments
